Mid-YearMarket Check-InWhat Changed and What Comes Next
The first half of 2026 tested everyone. Nifty fell close to 9%, IT lost a third of its value, and most investors reacted by panic-selling dips or chasing what was still rising. Join Anirudh Kataruka and Simran for a mid-year check-in on what actually moved markets, the traps that cost investors the most, and why rule-based portfolios don't need predictions to work.

"This isn't about predicting what comes next. It's about building a portfolio that doesn't need you to be right about the future."

About the Session
Most market discussions focus on one question: Where does the market go from here?
This session starts somewhere more useful.
Instead of building another forecast, we will examine how to read the market when different signals point in different directions, how to judge whether a development is temporary or meaningful, and how to think about portfolio decisions without reacting to every change in sentiment.
The aim is to give you a practical framework for interpreting markets more clearly, especially when the obvious answer may not be the right one.
This webinar is not about market calls or stock tips. It is about building a process that works regardless of what the market does next.
Curriculum
8 things you will walk away knowing
A zero-jargon roadmap packed with actionable frameworks.
What was really happening beneath the Nifty in H1? See why the index alone did not capture the experience of investors across different parts of the market.
What were foreign investors actually doing with India exposure? Look beyond equity selling to understand the fuller picture behind global capital flows.
Are corporate fundamentals beginning to improve? Examine whether the recent improvement in profits is broad enough to matter beyond a handful of large companies.
Where have valuations genuinely become more attractive? Compare different parts of the market against their own history instead of relying on a single market wide number.
What changes when you stop looking at markets one year at a time? See how investment outcomes behave very differently as the holding period gets longer.
What deserves a portfolio decision now? Bring the evidence together to think more clearly about allocation, deployment and what should simply be monitored.
How panic-selling and chasing momentum hurt long-term returns, and how long-term investors always win.
What actually matters at your investment horizon? Learn how the signals worth paying attention to change depending on whether you are investing for the next year, five years or a decade, and how to separate short term noise from what can genuinely influence long term outcomes.
